Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions. If you cannot find what you need, drop us a line — we will reply.
What is the difference between fresh and aged meat?
Fresh meat reaches you within days of slaughter. Dry-aged meat is controlled-aged for a minimum of 21 days in special conditions — moisture evaporates, flavours concentrate, tissues soften. The result is a more intense flavour and tenderer texture.
Are all prices shown with VAT?
Yes, all shop prices are shown per kilogram (€/kg) including value-added tax. The VAT rate for meat products in Latvia is 12%.
Can I buy more or less than one kilogram?
Yes, all products can be ordered by weight. The minimum order is 0.5 kg. The price is calculated precisely according to weight.
How does delivery work?
We deliver across Latvia using refrigerated transport. Orders are prepared on demand — fulfilment takes 2–5 business days depending on volume.
Is your meat organically certified?
Yes, our organic meat is certified LV-BIO-01. We raise the cattle ourselves, grow our own grain — a fully traceable chain. We also offer conventional meat from the same farm.
How should I store and cook aged meat?
Store in the refrigerator at 0–4°C, use within 3–5 days. Take it out 30–60 minutes before cooking. Sear on a very hot pan or grill — briefly, to your preferred doneness. Let it rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
Can I visit the farm?
The slaughterhouse is not a public facility, but coordinated visits for partners are possible. Contact us to arrange.
Do you accept returns?
Food product returns are not possible. If the received product does not match your order, please contact us immediately.
